    Question:
I just bought a snow thrower 14527E. I was using it and the fourth day.The left wheel sheered at the coupler where it sets into drive unit. It is at the dealer waiting for the new wheel 3/07/11.The dealer also has the same unit there with a slip in clutch or drive mechanisam.I hope I do not have lot of problems, this is a 1500.00 peice of equipment.

The other input is the shift lever for the foward & reverse.
The linkage is very sloppy and binds, you have shift it very slow, so it will not bind. The left and right steering cabling
is also sloppy. It does not engage & disneage smoothly.
    Details:

I have been in manufacturing industry for over 20 yrs. It is hard not be critical of products that I buy. This includes small and large purchases.

Hi and thanks for using the Answer Army to post you questions and comments.

I have checked our data base for any service bulletins or anything stating the same problems you are having and there is nothing out there. You are doing the proper thing by taking it to your authorized service center and having those guy's evaluate and repair the problems you are having. That unit is normally considered a bullet proof machine with little to no problems.

The unit does come with a 2 year consumer use warranty, so if you have anymore problems it will be covered.

I hope this helps, and thanks again for using the Answer Army.
