    Question:
I have a 326LS trimmer, purchased in mid 2010. My head broke in April 2011 and I have had to by 1 replacement head a month because the "Blue" bump pad keeps getting soft and breaking which keeps you from advancing the line. These replacement heads cost 25-35 dollars at lowes and I dont think you should have to purchase one a month because the bump head keeps deteriating. SKU # 537 38 81 01 from Lowes.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this experience.

The line head is not designed to run on the ground all the time, it is only to be tapped on the ground when line advance is needed. All other times it is to be carried above the ground. The picture shows heavy wear indicating the line head is allowed to run on the ground constantly. this is not warranty. The head you have should give years of service if not allowed to run on the ground constantly.

We do have a commercial version of the head you may want to look at purchasing but still is not designed to run on the ground constantly. The T35X this head has a ball bearing in the knob.
