    Question:
My new Husqvarna 450 rancher wont start after using it twice. Maybe 3 hours of use. Has fuel.
    Details:

I ran it once for about an hour. Let it sit for about a week. Ran it again for about 2 hours. It died, still has fuel. Has compression. Let it sit for a night. It fired in the morning. Ran for about 2 minutes and died again. Wont start anymore. Still has fuel, and compression.

      Shiloh,

I would start by looking at the fuel system. First replace the fuel with a fresh batch of fuel mixed with the correct oil to gas ratio.   Its possible with fresh fuel, and pumping the primer bulb several times, along with a few manual pulls of the cord that you can flush the old fuel out of the carburator.

Next, check the fuel filter in the tank, and see if its discolored (yellow or brownish) if in doubt just replace the fuel filter they are reasonable.

Next you would need to check the carburator, It is possible and a comon complaint that fuel can get water in it, this is bad for the carburator and the engine will not run if there is water inside the carburator, so you would have to clean the carburator, and then have it properly adjusted.

You stated its a new chainsaw, so my recommendation would be to take it back to the store where purchased or take it to a Husqvarna Repair center, If its still under warranty, where they can find the problem with your fuel system.

      I hope this helps
