Question:
576XP piston failure at exhaust port area. what causes this and what can be done to correct this issue. This saw is used for personal use with low hours. I've seen other websites that comment about this problem and pictures of a broken piston that looks just like mine. Is Husqvarna addressing this issues for there customers?

Without picturs i just a guessing game.
Maybe a lean burn or straight gas issue but review the following booklet of engine failure analysis to pin point the possible cause.
