    Question:
    The cable that connects the clutch/break peddle broke at the tip where it connects to the peddle. What part do I need to order?

    Also, I purchased the mower a bit less than a year ago and registered it on your website. Is it still under warranty and, if so, how can I make a claim?

    Arthur, the cable part 428460 does change to 435559  or 532435559 either number will provide the correct cable.

    I encourage you to call some of the other service centers in the area to see if they can evaluate for passible warranty. However be aware any Husqvarna, Poulan, Poulan Pro, Sears, Weed Eater or McCulloch dealer can obtain this part for you.

    I checked the link on the website listed above for "Order Parts" and also "Sears" both companies have the cable available.

     Looking I do show 10 Weed Eater service centers in the region you mention.

      Order Parts (This is a third party company not Weed Eater)  or can contact local dealer.

      Your local dealer is your best and fastest source of information.

      All repairs for warranty consideration must be evaluated and completed by an authorized Weed Eater service center. If determined to be warranty and the repairs are completed the dealer will file the necessary claims. If not warranty the dealer should provide an estimate or quote for the required repairs.

      Thanks Scott. I know the part I want to order but can't find a way to order it! I looked for a dealer in Lynchburg, VA and called one that the phone was disconnected and then called Northern Tool and they didn't know they were a dealer and couldn't help. I then went to the online service and it couldn't find the part number. Help me figure out how to place the part order. The grass is growing and I don't have a working mower! What I need is 428460 CABLE, BRAKE Thanks, Arthur
