Question:

I have the YT48XLS and am told it has the locking rear differential. I bought the unit June 2014 although my serial number indicates it was built in Nov. 2013. The manual makes no mention of the locking rear differential and the dealer AND website indicate it is "pedal operated" locking rear differential. How do I know my unit has the locking rear differential and how do I know if it is engaged or not? Is there or should there be a manual engagement for this feature?

check the model number of the transmission with the manufacturer of the transmission. Husqvarna installed the wrong transmission in mine but replaced it when I provided the information. Their explanation was basically, Oops we goofed.
