Chainsaws

I am considering buying a 450 E series saw, and I want to make sure that it is a true' Husqvarna. I understand that some Husqvarna chainsaws are made by Poulan. At what point in the Husqvarna line of chainsaw products does Husqvarna actually make thae saw as opposed to Poulan? I am in need of a good saw with plenty of power for cutting small to large trees and doing some around the house work. What is your recommendation?
