I purchased a Husqvarna 961450023 HU700H Honda 160cc 3-in-1 Rear Wheel Drive Hi-Wheel Mower in 22-Inch Deck from amazon. I have a third of an acre yard and literally only got the front yard finished for the first time and now I'm having issues.
1)a piece was missing in the box for the deck wash port
2)after finishing the front yard I turned off the mower and took a small break. when I went to do the back yard ever time I engage the rear wheel drive I hear grinding noises. this is the FIRST time it's ever been used and it's already grinding?!
3)the rear wheels lock when trying to pull the mower backwards. after pushing it forward and back a few times they let up but is that normal?!
4)Husqvarna's customer service isn't open until Monday and they don't have an email option so I'm stuck with this forum stuff.
regretting ever buying it. if it's not settled by Tuesday I'll be shipping it back to amazon because I'm not keeping a broken piece of garbage!

Answer
I just bought and used the same mower today. The deck wash port has a fitting on the deck to accept the male hose connection, otherwise there's a female quick disconnect in the packing material bag, you have to buy a male fitting at Lowes/HomeDepot to use that but it's not necessary. I didn't have any problems pulling it backwards. One of the rear wheels may have a pebble in the gears(?)
