    Question:
    I have a Husqvarna 235 chainsaw with a problem.
After starting it up cold and using the directions from manual if I run it for 15 minutes or longer and shut down it is almost impossible to re-start it.
I have tried various methods of starting procedures but nothing seems to work. It is fairly new chain saw. The gas is fresh and tried a new spark plug with no success. After it sits overnight it starts up but returns to the same issue of re-starting.
Any ideas on what could be the cause.

      Victor:

It could be caused by a number of different things. I always start by checking out the fuel system, starting with a new fuel filter, and then checking the fuel lines, and finally the carburetor. I have also heard of a problem with Model 235's, that has to do with the carburetor adapter seal, which is located between the engine cylinder and the carburetor, If an air leak develops at this seal then the engine will start when its cold and Not run when the engine gets hot. The last item that I would check is the ignition coil, when the ignition coil is cold the engine starts and runs fine, but when the coil gets hot, It stops working, until it cools back down again.

I hope this helps, If you need adiditional information, please let me know.
