    Question:
How can I get a remote cable bracket? My 924HV snow thrower arrived from Amazon without this part. It's listed on pg. 7 of the operator's manual (FIG. 8), but when I called customer service, they couldn't find it. Help! Thanks!

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this experience.

I would ask that you look at the cable itself, this is not a separate part and is only available with the complete cable assembly ( 532 42 11-64 ).

If you find after looking at the end of your cable the bracket is not there please take the complete machine to your local authorized Husqvarna service center, they will be able to replace the cable under warranty.

I appreciate your quick response, but the remote cable bracket is not attached to the cable (at least in my case), and in the operator's manual for the 924HV (Page 7 / Figure 8 / SEE ATTACHED) the remote cable bracket is clearly pictured as a separate part. It does not make sense that in order to get this tiny part, I would need to load my brand new 265 pound snow blower into my car. Any further help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Apparently, y'all are too busy to actually help solve my problem. After spending more than an hour on two calls to customer service, I've now voiced my frustration via an Amazon review and a Tweet to my 5,981 Twitter followers: https://twitter.com/#!/morville/status/126800706257698816

Not being able to find your own parts is not acceptable!

I can not even find an email to contact husqvarna. I have the Exact same issue, the bracket shown separately is NOT in the parts list on the first page. I also ordered this from amazon.com with no other issues, I did however try to leave a review on husqvarna.com being rejected with no help, I am sick of this service... I will also be ranting about this simple little bracket that does not even have a part number. It really is amazing how far manners really go, obviously husqvarna does not care about customers. I am with peter that you are too busy to help with this small issue, I am not taking this whole machine to a dealer 20 miles away just to replace the cable with one that includes a bracket. Next time I'll stick with sears product, at least I can bring just the part there and they will have a new one for me.

GET THE HINT GUYS! take care of the consumer or be the generation that ruins a very old reputaion.
