    Question:
I bought a Husgvarna pressure washer with a honda 160 cc engine a few days ago. I have used it twice and each time the machine starts easily but will not run continually. While using the pressure washer, the engine begins to slow down and eventually stop. The engine has not run continnually for more than 90 to 120 seconds. What would cause this?

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this concern.

First I would say the fuel valve may be almost all the way off and that this should be checked or the carburetor may need attention. Secondly there could be a problem with the unloader valve stalling the engine, if when the engine dies you can not pull the recoil rope this would indicate that the unloader is not releasing correctly.

If the fuel valve is open then the unit will need to be serviced by either an authorized Husqvarna service center for the ( pump ) or an authorized Honda engine service center.
