    Question:
I purchased a 372xp late fall 2010 after firewood season. I used it last year 2011 to saw my personal firewood (approx. 3 cords of white oak). I used it about three weeks ago to saw up some 4' pieces of pine for fire wood. I was about 10 minutes in to the work when the saw stalled out. It started hard than stalled again. The saw began to pull over than siezed upcompletely. It ended up being the bearings on the crankshaft which required a new crank, bearing, piston, and honing the cylinder. $469.00 later I have my "new" saw back running. I know there is only a 6mo warenty on the comercial saws but can I get any support from husqy on this repair. I have had husqvarnas my whole life, guys like me are husqvarna's biggest salesmen. I am not getting rig of my saw as some would suggest, can I get a little support from Husqvarna?

Pat... did the dealer take pics of the saw before repair?? i know our dealership takes photos of any unit that is questionable as to warranty. Also if this is your personal saw and not used professionally, husqvarna sometimes allow the pro saws to b covered by the 2 year warranty for consumer use. that being said did the dealer give you back the old parts after the repair? might question the guys on that one id like to see the damage they "say ' it has...

I did not take photos before, I was told of the 6mo warenty and that was it. However I do have the parts and the bearings are spent and caused damage to the piston.
