i have a husqvarna 346xp that i have not started in 2 yrs.i put oil in the plug hole and replaced plug. pulls very hard. removed plug and it pulls easy. tried plug in and bar removed and muffler removed. still pulls hard. any ideas?
Answer
A couple things first rinse the cylinder with fuel mix as regular will create too wet compression. Second it looks like this engine has decompression valve. Are you depressing it before you try to start the engine. It is there to make it easier to get up to speed without as much effort or you are pulling against the full compression of the engine.
