just purchased hu600L mower from sears. noticed that the underside of the deck had little to NO paint in most areas! Is this normal? Wouldn't the bare metal be more susceptable to rust?

It is completely normal for he underside of the mower decks for many of our units to not be painted. We have performed 1000's of hours of testing for corrossion and rust and the metals we use must meet certain standards for rust prevention.
