Question:

I have a 128ld trimmer with hedge trimmer attachment. I recently bought the SR600-2 power sweeper but I can not get it attached. Does not even look like it will work. There is not press button release on the power sweep like on my other attachments and it looks to be female on both the power sweep and the trimmer shaft. The literature on the Husqvarna website said it attachs to the 128ld but I am perplexed as to how. What am I missing?

From one my vendors they say it would not work on the 128LD.

the Husqvarna SR600-2 Sweeper attachment only fits Husqvarna trimmer models 128LDX, 324LDX, 128DJx, 327LDX and 122LDX.

I recently tried to add to my collection an edger to go with my Husqvarna 128 LD. I did not catch that there was an LD and a LDX model. Of course I bought the wrong attachment by accident. I think that I understand there is no way that they can be connected as stated in the above response. My question. Does Husqvarna sell the 128 LDX unit from the motor to the connection so that I can buy the missing link to my issue or will I have to go ahead and buy another trimmer?
