    Question:
I own a 128LD Husqvarna string trimmer I bought in 2009. I have purchased three OEM T25 replacement heads to use as spares over the years. I bought another sometime in the last year and something is not right with it.

This T25 head came with 2 additional addapters, a 3/8" LH thread and a 3/8" RH thread. The directions say the 10mm LH thread adapter my 128LD uses is already built into the head. However, the adapter threads in the head are too large and they just slide over the shaft threads. I can tell by visual examination the adapter nominal hole size in this replacement head is slightly larger than on my other spare T25 heads. Just to be sure, neither of the 3/8" thread adapters will thread onto the shaft threads (which makes sense).

Does anyone know what is going on here? I have never had any trouble with any of the other spare T25 heads threading onto the 128LD trimmer straight from the package.
