    Question:
I have a 125BVX handheld leaf blower that's never run quite right.
I'm fairly sure there's crud in the carb.

I've removed it, but the thing has not been designed for rebuild.

How can I get a new one?

(My local dealers can't find the pull start much less fix it, so they aren't touching the *** thing. Besides, the idiots will charge me more than I paid for anew one.)

Strange the ipl is showing a Zama c1q-w37 which uses a RB-47 repair kit. Dealer is probably not wanting to repair since you replace the carburetor for close what the carb kit costs.

Here is one on Fleabay that is only $19 including shipping.

        Thanks, Eugene.

Issue with Carb isn't in the diaphragms or needle.  Fairly sure issue is clogged jets.   (I have spark and I have compression and unit has never quite run properly.)  I should have taken it right back, but.....

Looking at carb, certain pathways appear to be covered by pressed-in covers (on needle side.)  I hesitate to dislodge.

Might help to pull needle valves, but..... Any idea where I can nab a carb adjuster tool?

You don't need to remove the welch plugs as an ultrasonic cleaner usually clean the area underneath very will. You don't even need to remove the mixture adjustment screws; I do remove them since it speeds up the cleaning process. The only time I even replace these welch plugs is when they are either missing or leaking. BTW some what appear the plugs are nozzles and they are not replaceable if damaged but the other welch plugs do come the repair kit.

As for the adjustment tool I have seen some on Ebay but most local shops will not sell them to the end users as they could be heavily fined by the EPA or lose their dealership certification which neither is worth the risk.

        Thanks again, Gene.

Found an interesting YouTube on the tool;  Guy uses an electrical butt splice crimp.  So all the EPA has done is tried to block customary american ingenuity!  Typical.

        Have a good evening.
