Question:
I recently purchased a PoulanPro 500 series mower. The third time I used it, I hit a green sprout about 1" in diameter ONCE (one time only). When I restarted the mower I realized the casing was severly cracked and leaking oil.
The dealer that I purchased the mower from looked at it and refused to warranty it. If fact, they have been most disrespectful and rude. I normally try to shop at local businesses and support them, but no more. In fact, I seriously doubt that I'll ever buy a Husqvarna product again based on the lack of response from the dealer and the main company.
I would like to get the specifications for the motor castings for comparison. I have taken the mower to Missouri S&T in Rolla, MO for an independent metallurgical test to determine the quality of the product I purchased.
