    Question:
I have a self propelled walk behind Husqvarna HU775BBC mower.

The drive cable (cable drive)has become unattached to whatever it attaches to for tightening the drive belt pulley for propulsion. Where does the drive cable attach to create the tension necessary to obtain propulsion at the drive pulley end? Hope someone can help here.

    Thanks Tom

I have this same problem. It's just unattached, but I cannot see where it goes. It looks like it would be super simple to reattach if I just knew where.

I had this same issue and I took my mower half apart to try to fix it. It looks like there is supposed to be a place in front of the transmission but it was made of plastic and broke off. There is a small hole on the belt guide of the transmission that the return spring attaches to. But I have the cable adjusted all the way out and it is barely enough to drive the wheels. I am looking into welding something on to fix the issue.

Have the same problem with the piece of plastic breaking off where the spring and I guess the cable mounts.Cheap engineering to be sure.Does anyone know where the other end of the spring goes. I'm sure the new transmission would cost a pretty penny. I'm not going that route. If anyone figures out a solution for this please let me know.
