    I have a 125BVX blower. Page 18 of the manual says to use RCY-8Y spark plug. Page 19 says use RCY-6Y spark plug.
    Witch is correct ??

    First I looked in the parts listing of the unit and it says use the RCJ6Y

    That is the one I would go with. The other number must be a typo error, I will let the people involved with that know.

      I have a husqvarna blower model 125BVX x-series purchased 12/3/14. It came with a champion spark plug RCJ-6Y. Last year I replaced that with a firstfire equivalent FF-13. The manual says to replace spark plug with a RCJ-8Y but the specs in the same manual show the spark plug to be a RCJ-6Y. This season, without looking at the specs, I purchased an RCJ-8Y equivalent firstfire spark plug FF-11. The blower will not start with that spark plug. In chatting with husqvarna "experts" I'm told to use the 8Y or even a 7Y will work. Should all three work in my blower? If so is a carb adjustment required for each plug?
