String Trimmers

I am looking at getting a Husky 128 LDX for my boyfriend for his birthday. He wants all the attachments...especially the paddle wheel and the pole saw. I have contacted 2 local dealers so far and the first tried steering me away from Husky and the second tried to tell me that the 128 LDX and the 128 DJX can take the paddle wheel and the pole attachment however, will not handle it as well, due to the power of the engine and it not having a steel shaft. They said that I would need the 327 LDX. Now, I feel like they are just trying to upsell me. I don't understand why Husky would create a trimmer that accepts all attachments if it could not "handle" them all. They said that if I got the 128 LDX with those 2 attachments my husky would run poorly and not handle well and I would probably not like Husky. Is this truly the case or are they simply trying to upsell for more money??
