    Question:
I have a Husqvarna 6021P purchased last July, 2011. It will not crank. Do I Have to pay out of pocket to get this new mower started or will it be covered under warranty?
    Details:
I bought a Husqvarna 6021P walk-behind last July 6th, from Sears. One pull cranked out of the box. Model# 917.384513, SN#; 040611M006312. Now, 6 months later, it won't crank for anything. It has gas, oil, and the filter has been cleaned. I don't feel I should have to spend more money with a lawn repair service on this new mower. This model has a Kohler engine XT-6, 149cc. Spec# PH-XT149-o311, SN; 4100427678
    Please advise, very displeased consumer......

    Steve,

Thanks for contacting Husqvarna to post your questions.

It is impossible to determine why the mower will not start without having your dealer checking the mower. If the problem is a manufacturing defect or flaw, it would be covered by the warranty.

Try draining the fuel and replacing it with a fresh tank. Fuel containing Ethanol can go bad in as little as 3 weeks.
