Riding Lawn Mowers

I am disabled and it is hard to walk. I heard that the Husqvarna tractor's have a plastic molding and they will not last long because of that. The house that I am buying has one-forth acre on it. What size of tractor would you recommend for that size yard??? Also what tractor has a metal molding that is comfortable to the Husqvarna???
