    Question:
Where might I be able to obtain a parts diagram for my 445 chainsaw? I need to order a couple of muffler mounting screws that for whatever reason vibrated loose and fell out. Where can I get a parts diagram so I can find out what part numbers these are and then go on a big search for some outfit from which to obtain the parts from. Thanks for any help in this regard.

You be able look for whichever year you have at Jack's. There will several versions that come up when you enter model number 445.

You can also search the IPls on the Husqvarna Download Site.

Thanks Eugene for those helpful links.  Pretty sure I was able to find the screws I need from the diagrams at both sites there.  Yeah it says model 445 on my chainsaw but the owners manual that came with it says for model 445 or 445e, and I'm not absolutely certain whether mine might actually be a 445 or a 445e; I assume mine's a 445 because that's what the sticker on the plastic housing of the chainsaw says.  Also, I am confused/uncertain about how to determine the specific year of my 445 chainsaw.  There's all those different "versions" of the 445 including 445e, 445 II, 445e II.  What's the method of determining my specific model and year so I can know for sure?  Thanks again.

E models are the tool-less bar adjustment type. If Generation II it should those dreaded flip top fill caps and they retail for nearly twice the original 445's according to the Husqvarna website.

Okay well I need to use a tool (flat blade tool like slotted screwdriver) to adjust my bar, and mine doesn't have any flip top fill cap so must be just the original.   Good to know; thanks again man. laugh
