    Question:
I ordered a new 2011 Husqvarna HVT52 trimmer on line. When I received it, it was clearly quite used and shabby. The sticker said 2008. The dealer claims that these machines were made in 2008 and no more will be made until those are sold and that we were given a new machine. Is it true that all of the Husqvarna HVT52 trimmers say 2008 on them?

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have received a product in this state.

All product should be new unless otherwise specified by the selling dealer.

Because of inventory turnover there is no way to know if the model you ordered would be a 2011 model or not. The HVT 52 has not changed at all in years. Even so the unit you received should not have been in a used state. Please contact the dealer to discuss your concerns that the unit appears to be used.

I can not say you would get a 2011 unit if the dealer were to order one but it should be new none the less.  Warranty is not affected by DOM it is from the DOP.
