    Question:
May be a dumb question but I would like to shorten up the length of the handle on a
LC 221RH push mower . The upper handles look as they where designed to be moved up or down but I have searched for a long time and could not find a single mention of how except in one down loaded manual. There is mentioned setting the lower handle to a comfortable height, The height is fine but the length leaves me feeling I am mowing the lawn across the street.

I need to have the upper handle shorten and it looks like the lower handle just needs a hole in each side at the length I want. I think around 4 to 6 inches would be comfortable and still give me plenty of leverage.
Is this possible or would it invalidate my warranty?
So summarizing I wish to leave the bottom handle alone and drill 2 holes in the lower handle to allow the upper handle to shorten up. Want to make sure there is not another way, that my mower would still function normally and my warranty would not be affected.

    Thank You
