Question:
Looking to find product number and year for Husqvarna 40 chainsaw. Only tag on machine is a metal engraved tag on handle below trigger with "Husqvarna 40 8380876 Made in Sweden"). There is a yellow UL tag with 1985 on it, so I am suspecting mine is a 1985 model, but there are two different parts lists for that year. Ultimately I need a new carburetor or carburetor repair kit, so any details helpful.

1988 Produce 38th week of the year. 876 unit produce that week.
To carburetor or carburetor pull the carburetor and get the model of the one currecntly installed.
