It is upsetting that you have experienced this problem.
Yes, agreed it does sound like something is wrong and the dealer should look to determine the reason this is coming off. Just putting the spring back on is not finding the root cause of the failure. I would suggest that the dealer inspect all the pulleys, the belt and the tension on the belt and spring.
I have called my dealer, and it is at my expence that I get it in to the shop for them to look it over,,,,I don't have a way to get it there..And I feel like the Co should be taking care of this problem at their expence. As it has to have something failing to do this as this is the 5th time this spring has come off,
I have the same mower with the same problem. the only dealer we have here is no longer in business. I beleve it is poorly engineered. Too bad there isnt anyone on this site that can help.
I have the same mower. Two years ago I was having the same problem. I called a dealer and asked him about this problem. He informed me there is a recall on the decks of this mower. He replaced the deck at no cost to me. Call a some one who deals and works on Husqvarna mowers.
The RZ4619 requires two lift support springs on the deck; one on each side under the seat. The dealer where I purchased mine only installed one on the right side and positioned the belt keeper on the idler pulley towards the front of the mower when they assembled the mower. After a short time, the belt started coming off and tearing chunks out of it. I leveled the deck and noticed the parts list called for TWO springs; one on the right and one on the left, The keeper should be towards the right side of the mower, between the tension idler and the stationary idler. Also make sure the tension idler is tightened correctly. Evidently having two springs keeps the deck from bouncing, which was causing the belt to come off. My dealer gave me the missing spring when I pointed this out to them. I have been running the mower for over a year with no more thrown belts, thank God. If there are other models having this problem, I suggest checking to see another spring can be added.
