Hello Sir:
I have a Husqvarna 562XP chainsaw bought a year ago, and if I am correct, professional saws are covered for only 6 months. The issue is I discovered after being away for three months, that the gasket of the chain oil tank was leeching with chain bar oil. I meticulously and properly stored the chainsaw clean and free of chain oil and fuel. Residual chain oil trapped by an over-sized gasket inside the reservoir is the reason for the leeching. How can I convince the company to replace a faulty chainsaw? I have never had this problem with Stihl chainsaws. I called the company for customer service and they were not very helpful. I may change my mind to buy Stihl brands if the issue is not resolved.
