    Question:
I have lost the bar nut for the clutch housing on my 450 chainsaw. are these nuts universal in size (I would assume not)? can I order just a replacement nut or do I need to purchase an entire housing assembly?

They are a standard sized M8-1.25 Flanged nut (Smooth washer version) . Available through Fastenal or you can buy Husqvarna one PN 503220001.

Just don't use the serrated flanged nuts or they dig into the chain brake cover. I have been having to replace a few covers on account of this.
