I have a YTH 18542 and cannot get fuel flow to the filter. Is there a check valve in the fuel line?
Answer
No check valves at all. Chances are, you have a clogged fuel line, or possibly a clogged vent. To see if it's a clogged vent, remove the fuel cap. To see if it's a clogged fuel line, blow compressed into the line going BACK to the tank. DO NOT blot towards the engine as you can damage the carb.
