when I step on the brake to start my yth21k46 the motion drive belt falls off the flat belt tensioner. This is my third Husqvarna belt and is routed properly. Is there any adjustments I can make?
There is no adjustments as this a spring tension system. Now with coming off check that idler bearings are not worn out allowing to flop around. Also verify that belt retainer is in the proper place.
The idler bearings are still tight. Where is the belt retainer located? Is it the flat metal located as a belt guide on the tension arm next to the idler?
As it turns out all the new replacement flat idlers now have a top AND bottom flange to prevent this very problem. The original idler only had a top flange. Ordered new part.
