    Question:
I have a rz3016 with a b&s intek engine. I purchased it in June when I got it home from the dealer started mowing after about 20 min the engine just quit.I tried to restart it but it would only turn over not run. In choke it would fire for a few sec then quit. Called dealer ask me to check fule pump it was pumping about 20 min had expired. Hooked fuel line up and it started. I said thanks to dealer and continued mowing about 20-30 min later the engine just quit again and same as before it would not start. Called dealer he came by about an hour later picked up the seat jiggled the interlocks and it started. He took the unit with him and kept it for a week and could find no problem. I have used it for 3 week or so and today it stopped twice exibiting the same symptoms as before and after a few min it would again start.
Could this be vapor lock if so why and how to stop it?
Can an interlock allow the engine to turnover and not start but with choke fire and quit?

It seems to me to be fuel supply/ignition related

Ohand why doed the engine backfire when u turn it off even in slow?

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have experienced this failure.

This does sound like a fuel related failure, and something the dealer should be able to readily find. It may be an issue with the engine and for that if the Husqvarna dealer is not an authorized Briggs and Stratton dealer.

If the dealer is both that is the best answer. I would have the dealer start by checking the fuel tank venting.
