    Question:
I can only pull the starter cord out a very short distance (about 1/3 the length) before it locks up when trying to start my 125C trimmer. How can I troubleshoot the issue and get it working again?
    Details:

We unscrewed the piece that houses the starter cord and were able to pull it out just fine, but when it is installed back on the trimmer, it is still only pulling out no more than about 1/3 the length before it locks up.  We also were unable to remove the spark plug using a standard 5/8" deep socket normally used for spark plugs - it would not fit onto the spark plug.

    Hi Shanna

Thanks for contacting the Answer Army to post your questions.

It sounds like you may have excess fuel in the crankcase. You will need to remove the plug and pull the rope several times to get it all out. CAUTION please do not let the coil wire come in contact with any part of the engine. It WILL cause the fuel and vapor to ignite so be careful.

Thanks again from the Husqvarna Technical Services Team.
