    Question:
I have a 145BT Blower and the gas cap leaks. This is the 3rd cap that I purchased trying to stop this problem. And no there is nothing wrong with the gas tank neck. This problem is all over the Internet.

Husqvarna needs to address this problem before someone gets burnt or dies.

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you have had this experience.

While we have heard this complaint recently, this is not a common occurrence. I would ask that you have a local dealer inspect the cap and the tank to determine where the fuel is leaking. The dealer can perform a pressure and vacuum on the tank to determine where the unit is leaking from. We take any and all fuel leaks very seriously and this needs to be looked at by an authorized Husqvarna servicing dealer.

have the same problem and also have purchased three caps trying to correct on two different blowers. Dealer says it is a problem with the vent design and when gas is splashed around in the tank is leaks back through the hole where strap is attached. yes it could be safety issue but leaking gas burning holes in customers gtass and stinking clothes makes this the last Huskvarna blowers when updating equipment.
