    Question:
    I have a broken engine mount on my walk behind mower, which when it broke took the aft right corner of the oil sump with it. A majority (assumed) of the oil drained onto the deck. My son shut down the mower and left it until I returned home.

    It appears that the lower portion of the engine is a separate part that includes the oil sump. If that is the case, can I get that lower portion, which is the oil sump and mounting plate that mounts the engine to the deck?

    Model number is 961330018-00.

      Provide it has the Briggs 09P702-0010-F1

      The part number for sump/oil pan is Briggs and Stratton 590569 and will come the crankcase gasket and oil seal. Available at any Briggs and Stratton parts store.

      A couple things I before ordering the parts. One is to check the crankshaft and make sure it not bent. The other thing is verify the engine model and type numbers.

        Thanks.  The engine is the 9P702-0010-F1.  I'm off to get the sump/oil pan gasket and oil seal.
