    Hi Geoffrey,

Thank you for contacting Husqvarna. What has happened was you took the cover off with the chain brake engaged. You can try to put it on by pushing against the clutch drum from the back of the saw going forward. You have to catch the brake band on the backside edge. It's not easy to do. Otherwise you will need to get to your local dealer. You can find your local Husqvarna dealers for sales, service, parts and manuals using the link. /images/us/homeowner/home/ . You must contact your local Husqvarna Service center for any and all parts and service as well as pricing. Any Husqvarna dealer should be able to order parts as needed.

Always try GOOGLE for your model or part # (drop the spaces and dashes) and you can find out a lot of information about your unit or distributors trying to sell you parts.

You can also try these websites: www.ordertree.com or www.jackssmallengines.com or www.searspartsdirect.com

Hope this helps. Thanks for using our products and have a great day.
