Snow Blowers

Hi, I have a new used twice, ST227P snow blower. The cable on the chute controlling the up and down movement is freezing up, not allowing control. The cable spring set up seems kind of flimsy. Is there a heavier duty cable to replace this one, not worried about finding a heavier spring to pull it back. Is the 330 model cable heavier duty. Thanks.
