Just received my new hu800hw and the wheels are missing the orange traction ring.
Sears said the factory needs to take care of it since they don't show any part number.
Did the factory run out of these parts?

It is upsetting that you have experienced this concern.
Some models of the HU series do not have the orange rings, it is important also to note this was not a functional feature.
Husqvarna does not offer support for Sears specific branded models. If your model number starts with a 917 or a 944 then all support is from Sears. If your mower did not have the orange rings on the tires it most likely was not supposed to, specifications are subject to change with out notice.
Please contact your local Sears store for information on the orange rings, they were never offered separately and only offered with the complete wheel assembly.
