    How do I remove the rubber grips and put the grips on the new handle assembly?
    Details:

    I have a DRT900H tiller.  The handle assembly broke at the weld and I'm replacing it.  All went well except for the rubber grips.  I twisted, pulled and even heated them but they didn't budge.  How do I remove them and put the grips on the new handle assembly?

      May not be possible. I have seen grips on some equipment that have fused to the paint making impossible to remove.
