String Trimmers

I have a model 128LD weedeater and the starter rope keeps hanging up and will not rewind. I went to the local dealer and he said the design of the starter rope and spring assembly was giving a lot of trouble and the users were having trouble getting them repaired. My machine is only about a year old. Something is wrong with the design and I need an answer quickly. I may have to buy another brand of trimmer.
