    Question:
I purchased my Weedeater One from Home Depot Online March 30, 2010.
Three weeks ago my brake cable, part #428460, broke where it connects to the Arm Clutch (part #42916). I called the part replacement 800 number on 8-25-11 and ordered the cable.
On Sept. 1, 2011 Billiou's Inc. in Porterville, Ca sent me part #440855. It was obvious the part was not the proper brake cable or anything similar.
I have called them three times now in an effort to get this straightened out and get the part replaced with the right cable. They have informed me there is a "problem" with several orders regarding this replacement part.
My first question is whether this part is still under warranty. The second question, is there a problem supplying this brake cable.
My closest city is 60 mi. away in the 96001 area.
I have two pieces of property and depend on this equipment to maintain the grounds. Obviously I have not been able to use my Weedeater One for three weeks now.
Can you give me some advise or assist me in getting this matter resolved?

    Sincerely.......Steve Garfield

Thank you for contacting the AnswerARMY.

It is upsetting that you are having these issues.

Per the mowers consumer warranty, the unit to be covered is allowed on a single residential property, multiple properties constitutes commercial / professional use and there is NO warranty for the LRV series of mowers in a commercial use setting.

Your source of supply may need to perform a bin check to ensure the part they have is correct. Also if needed they can elevate through their channels a bin check with our parts department to ensure the part is correct. You might try a different dealer to see if the part is in-stock at another location.
