I have a BT 150 blower, six months old. It is making a loud rattle noise from the inside of the engine. It has been at the "authorized" service center for three weeks. they think it is a wrist pin. Will It be repaired or will I receive a new blower since it is so new and that is major engine repair?

It is upsetting you have experienced this failure.
At this point we can not determine the type of repair as the dealer is not sure it is the wrist pin. The dealer needs to perform certain tests and then will need to pull the engine down to determine what the actual failure is. Once that happens they will call technical support for guidance on the direction of repair.
