    Question:
Husqvarna 125BX sluggish/dies when going off idle to WOT
    Details:

Got this less than a couple weeks ago from Lowes based on the reviews. The Poulan Pro of mine died after 3 yrs of use (needs new rings - won't start without oil in the cylinder).

So I got the 125BX. It starts great. Two pulls max. It seems to idle great. WOT seems to run decent. The bad part is that off idle to WOT it wants to die. You have to baby the throttle quite a few times for it to get to WOT so it won't die.

I'm running the oil that came with the blower, and am running V-power 93 gas in it. All of my other 2-strokes don't have an issue, so I don't think it's fuel related.

The fuel mixture settings of the carburetor are needing re-adjustment. It probably running on the lean side. Since it is only a couple weeks old it should be a warranty type adjustment. Also this is EPA type of adjustment that consumers are not suppose to do.

As for the Poulan it probably will take a piston, ring and cylinder plus gaskets to fix. It usually cost more to fix when labor is added then it cost new to fix so replacing was a good decision.
