So my question to Husqvarna is what happened to the loyalty to their own words? Or was it a lie then and now it is ok to sell at the "Big Box Stores" that Husqvarna was making fun of and mocking back in 1983.
Husqvarna advertisement from 1983.
We believe that the person who sells a Husqvarna Chainsaw must be able to service it. That's why we only sell our chainsaws through servicing dealers.
The reason is as simple as it is important.
You buy a chainsaw to cut wood. When you want to use it, you want to use it now. Having to wait for parts or the saw's return from a service center are delays we will not tolerate.
So the guy that wants to go to a big chain store and buy a chainsaw will just have to get along without Husqvarna.
And our Husqvarna dealer may have to wait and sell that guy his second chainsaw.
He won't have to wait long.
