    Husqvarna selling dangerous part.
    Details:

    I purchased a HU800AWD mower less than a year ago. I used it for two months and took great care of it. 

    The first time I used it this year the blade flew out the bottom of the mower. I am completely fine repairing the mower myself but the genuine OEM part seems to be just as dangerous. After reading the reviews for this part I'm surprised that this mower/part has not been recalled. 

    This part is still being sold which is just negligent.

    I need a new blade adapter for my mower that is not a death trap.

      If my research is correct you should be able to use the 581650901. This would be the steel version. Also make you torque the blade bolt to 55-65 ft-lbs.

        Can you show me where you found information on why you think that part would work? I just don't want to buy a part only to have it not fit or malfunction later on.

        I purchased the part but it was on back-order everywhere online (even if the site doesn't tell you ahead of time). I just received  the part today and unfortunately it does not fit. My lawn now looks extremely unkempt and I have nothing to show for my time and money. 

        It's looking like my only option is to buy a part that will eventually put me in the hospital.

        HU725AWDH  this is the modle this part is supoosed to fix. did it work on hu800awd?

      I replaced the part with the original OEM and lo and behold, the blade stayed on the mower almost a full 10 minutes. 

      Does anyone have a phone number where I can get in contact with someone at Husqvarna who can investigate why they are still selling this part and even using it in newer mowers?
