Question:

Hi,
I have a model 460 Rancher and was going through the maintenance manual. The manual reccomends lubricating the clutch needle bearing with "motor" oil. Does this refer to the 50:1 chainsaw oil, or does it refer to automobile oil? If automobile oil, what grade?

Details:

Infomation is located inteh Operator's maula (EPA II) 455e Rancher, 455 Rancher 460. Husqvarna p/n 1150250-95, or 2006-07-06 (print date?). English language version.

It's under the maintenance section on Page 36.

Thanks for using the Answer ARmy to post your questions.

I recommend Bar & Chain lube on initial start up and after each daily cleaning. If this area is keep clean the bar

and chain oil will wick into needle bearing area to keep cleaned and flush of debris.
