    Question:
LGT2654 just started losing power when PTO blades engaged. Lawn tractor has only 14 hours on it. Changed air filter, fuel filter and new gas with stabilizer, belts are fine, and it still bogs down to a crawl as soon as the blades are engaged at full throttle, otherwise engine seems to run fine without blades engaged. Brand new tractor - - frustrated - any ideas?

My experience on twin cylinders that do this is that one cylinder is not working one reason or another. By this I means either one is not firing due lack of spark or lack of fuel; although, there can other problems that make a cylinder non functional.

If your mower is still under warranty which I think so with only 14 hrs you need to let a Husqvarna dealer or service center look at it.

I am having the same problem with my RZ5424.  Ive switched the spark plugs to see if that was a problem - however both were in good shape, but one was in EXCELLENT condition - like its never been used.  could that be another problem?

If you do find a solution please post it. I am having the same issues with my Z254 zero turn. It all seems to function normal until I engage the PTO. Then all the sudden its like I have went to turtle mode and the mower bogs down like its about to die soon as I hit a low patch of grass. Very frustrating because mine only has 2.2 hours on it and cannot get a response from Husqvarna.
