bought back in may 2010 front tire has wires coming out the side tryed to patch but did not work cause the wires apparently held the tire together went to order new tire and its on backorder so it must be a design error will you rectify this problem cause i'm seriously thinking about just hacking the shaft off and weld a new shaft to fit a harbor freight tire on the end there tires cost 5.99 as opposed to $43

It is upsetting that you have encountered this problem.
I did check on the part number for the tire in question and they are not on back order from us. You might try a different dealer to see if they have the part in stock or if their distributor has the part available. It is not recommended to make any type of modification to the mower.
