    Question:
Before I ask a question again, has anyone had any success with this forum?

I have posted questions with no answers,

I have looked through other people's questions for answers to their issues and see no worth while reply other than "take your equipment to an authorized repair facility",

      Mark,

I would differ from about that as I checked your stats and on both of your 445 questions your receive replies and we were never updated if your were needing further help. Karla had answered you on the chain related question and I personally offer an suggestion your idling problem.

Now to the one comment on the LGT 2554, can you give details of your problems. Also please provide the product number from serial number decal as there is sometimes differences from one product number to the next.

      Sincerely,

      Eugene

Eugene, Sorry if this offended you or any others and yes I did receive replies from two people. Lately though I have been going onto the site and finding my issue that others are having the same problem but with no reply or telling them to send it to a service provider. The issue I am having with my lgt2554 is the steering. Both wheels are turned outward, attached is a picture of the front when you turn the wheels to make one of the wheels straight shows just how bad it is. NASCAR calls this plowing and that is what it does. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. With Blessings,Mark Shaw

None taken, It just like no one answer your questions. As for others not having replies it is sometime we have been trying to address. Personally I am just independent shop owner here trying help out until Husqvarna can things straight out from all of the reorganization that is going on.

As for your picture that is quite a bit of toe out. Has it this way from day one or is something that has shown up lately?

This looks like a result from a heavy impact twisting one of the spindles out place or a bent tie rod linkage. Without personally looking at it I won't be able to tell exactly what is causing it but it definitely not normal.

About 2 years ago it was sent to an authorized service rep for something else and they had noticed it then and said that the drag links needed replaced. After waiting 3 months, it returned with the drag links backwards and had to go back to them for them to correct. But even when it got back it never still straightened out and contiinously gotten worse that when I turn it's that NASCAR plowing that happens.

Okay, have you check the front wheel bushings? Some of these are plastic and some are metal either way both require regular greasing to prevent wear. If these are the metal they will also wear the spindle axle heavy when not greased regularly. I have had these bushings so worn on some mowers that I had to replace the wheel and the spindle axle to repair the problem.

The current replacement are the graphite impregnated metal version. PN 532009040.If the spindle axle is worn then it needs replacing as it will only the bushing to wear very quickly.

That was the first thing I checked and they were good. I got a reply from someone else that had the same problem with the same model number and he told me that his front axle was bent and he replaced it, so I decided to look at mine and found that the bushings were cracked and missing the majority of the washer part of them that may have something to do with it. Ordered the parts and expect them early next week.

I'll keep you updated on what happens when I get the parts and put on.

      thanks for all your assistance.

Tnx for the update. That was going to be my next suggested area to check. Just had to go through what I would normally check here if it was in my shop.
